Volunteering Opportunities
Our logo, opposite, was designed by a year 3 student from Danes Hill School. The logo competition was one of our very first events and the prize was awarded at our launch event, Oxshott Net Zero Village Day in April 2023
Talks and events
Come and join us for a talk or an event. We constantly update this page so please check back frequently.
Litter Pick
Come and join us for a litter pick. We will be working along the edge of the Heath on the A244 and also down Warren Lane. Oxshott's regular litter pickers will be joining forces with Oxshott Net Zero for this event to work towards our Plastic Free Oxshott award. Wear sturdy footwear and a bright jacket for good visibility as we will be working alongside the road. We hope to see you there!
Breakfast Talks
Come for a coffee and croissant to Danes Hill School and start your Friday morning by listening to some interesting speakers and having a chance to talk about sustainability issues. We hope to see you there!
Plant and seed swap
Collect some seeds from this year's flowers or bring along a cutting or spare plants and go home with something new!
Please note the change of usual date and venue for this month's repair cafe.
The Plant and Seed Swap will also run for October's Repair Cafe - also at St Andrew's Church on 18th.

Workshops
We have workshops for adults and children which we can come and run for your group to see how you could implement Take the JUMP in your setting. Or if you would prefer a talk or something else, just let us know and we'll put it together for you.

Plastic Free Oxshott
We are working towards becoming a Plastic Free Community in Oxshott. Please get in touch if you would like to help us with this exciting initiative.
Volunteer repairers and welcomers
We need lots of volunteers to run the repair cafe with Danes Hill School. If you have practical repair skills; admin skills or you could offer a friendly welcome to people visiting the cafe, please get in touch!
Sustainable gardens
We are working together with local groups, such as St Andrew's Church, on a variety of sustainable gardening projects and on supporting local bio-diversity. Come along and get involved.

Take the JUMP events
If you have an idea for an event which would fit in with the 6 shifts for Take the JUMP, we would love to work with you on it.
We will be running events from time to time to fit with the shifts and will need volunteers to help make these happen. If you would like to be involved with these on an ad hoc basis, please get in touch.
