Repair information and demonstrations
As you may know, there are lots of video tutorials on Youtube demonstrating how to repair things but you can also go to www.ifixit.com to find lots of resources. This includes textiles and clothing as well as electronics etc. Another way to access the same resource is here Repair guides - Repaircafe
Another useful source of information is www.manuall.co.uk where you can find manuals to most products.
Product parts
We have a discount account set up with Fixpart which gives us 15% off parts. You can take a look at this by going to www.fixpart.co.uk and signing in as follows: User name: repair@oxshottnetzero.org.uk password: ORCFP2024!
You can get all sorts of parts from this site. People bringing items for repair can also buy parts from here with the discount.
The following two organisations are very good for spares. The first for lamps and the second for window blinds.

The repair cafe has three sewing machines, an iron and ironing board and a small range of sewing supplies. We have a hand-held vacuum for cleaning inside products. We have a Black and Decker Workmate. We have some screws, nails, glues, batteries, wd40 etc. We also have some basic safety equipment including goggles, gloves and hand sanitiser. Please familiarise yourself with what we stock when you next attend the cafe. The photos below show other equipment which we own. Please do supplement these by bringing your own tools to sessions while we build up our stock.
